Salted Caramel Sauce

Ooh I have a weakness and it is in the form of Salted Caramel.  I LOVE anything salted caramel, funnily enough I’ve never been a fan of plain caramel though.  The very clever Tenina, who is famous for her delicious Thermomix recipes sent me her recipe for Salted Caramel Sauce to share with you all.  My mouth watered as I read the recipe, it looked so simple so I thought I’d give it a try.  Keep reading for both regular and thermomix Salted Caramel Sauce recipes.

Salted Caramel Sauce

Ooh my golly gosh… I made this salted caramel sauce in the thermomix within minutes. I then let it cool for a few hours and we drizzled (was a lovely thin consistency as it was still slightly warm) over icecream later that night, it was ooh so good.

But… then I popped it in the fridge and it went really thick which was possibly even more delicious.  I tried to take a photo of the sauce on the spoon so you can see how thick it was, but I was very uncoordinated trying to take the photo and couldn’t really get it and made a big mess at the same time 🙂

Salted Caramel Sauce

This is so dangerous to have something so yummy sitting in the fridge.  My hubby isn’t one for sweet food, nor ice-cream for dessert, but he had this 2 nights in a row… it’s that good.
