BENEFITS OF MEAL PLANNING

Each week I plan my meals for the following week, this is called meal or menu planning. Some think it’s not worth it, but it really is a simple task that takes 5-10 minutes to plan one week of meals. The money and time that these five minutes save me throughout my week, makes it well worth the effort.

MONDAY

Smokey BBQ Beef Meatballs – This Dinnerly recipe only takes 30 minutes to make, and is sure to be a crowd pleaser with the delcious flavour combos of a veggie loaded mash and smokey BBQ meatballs.

TUESDAY

Creamy Chorizo Pasta A super easy and absolutely delicious pasta recipe. This one is great for those busy nights when you want to whip up dinner quickly.

WEDNESDAY

Lamb Skewers and Salad – I love the combination on these skewers of lamb, haloumi and cherry tomatoes with a pesto sauce. Delicious, and would go perfectly with a salad for dinner.

THURSDAY

Chicken Paella – I love to eat paella when we eat out. This Dinnerly recipe for a cheat’s paella sounds the perfect way to enjoy this dish at home.

FRIDAY

Homemade Pizzas –  When everyone is home on a Friday night, we love to have a pizza night. I like to make the bases and provide a range of toppings so everyone can top a pizza to their personal tastes!

SATURDAY

Creamy Chicken Waldorf Pita Pockets – This recipe is another tasty and quick to make recipe from Dinnerly. All the yumminess of a waldorf salad in chicken pita pockets. Anything that you can eat with your hands are always a hit with younger kids.
