This is a really lovely and simple idea to serve at Easter. A chocolate cake, with a very simple icing, it’s just Nutella! Then top with loads of Easter eggs.
This is a fuss-free cake with a delicious edition of pure Nutella drizzled as icing!
This is a recipe from taste.com.au, it was quite a dry cake, next time I might use my Coconut Chocolate Cake recipe.

Here’s a clever idea that my daughter showed me. Fold up some baking paper to make it easy to lift a cake out of the pan. Also, the bottom of the tray was lined with baking paper it was stuck to the bottom of the cake. See the video here.
I also love these Cake Tin Liners, they make getting cakes out of the tin so much easier, and clean up is easier too.

Would you recommend making the cake the day before and then adding the nutella and eggs on the day?
Absolutely Kate, just keep the cake in an airtight container overnight.
