Gold Coast Mumpreneurs & Secret Bloggers Business eCourse

As you all know I live on the glorious and most beautiful Gold Coast.  I have lived here all my life and don’t ever imagine moving away.  So you can imagine my excitement when I was interviewed about being a successful Gold Coast Mumpreneur, you can read the article here and watch the video for some tips that Karla from Little Miss Lacey, Sally from Boyer Weight Loss and I share about being a Work At Home Mum and finding that life and work balance.

The City of Gold Coast has just launched the new website. It embraces a Gold Coast that’s everything you know and love, yet more than you think. Whether you’re a local or live elsewhere in Australia or overseas, we’re about uncovering all the things you don’t know about the Gold Coast and sharing with you the transformation as the Gold Coast prepares for the 2018 Commonwealth Games and beyond. I started The Organised Housewife on 1st August 2010.  Initially it was so I could create a database of sorts of all my recipes so I can easily share them with my friends, along with my ideas of organising and how I keep the home clean and tidy. From there they shared it with their friends and now 4 years later there is a community of over 450,000 on facebook and over a million or so page views on the blog each month… see how I keep pinching myself.  I truly truly love writing my blog.

Kat you truly are an inspiration. I started following your blog shortly after you first started and have been a quiet reader all this time, but I just want to say thank you. You just don’t realise how much impact you have on my life. Your simple ‘mum and everyday’ tips is what I need. You are not unrealistic and you are very relatable, your daily tasks make cleaning the house not such a big job as I do all my normal vacuum the carpets and wash the floors then your tasks just fit in between when you tell me to do them. Thank you Kat and I am so glad to see that your local people have recognised your efforts.

I want to be a blogger July 16, 2014 - 9:25 AM

I have wanted to start a blog for some time but just don’t know where to start, I’ll look into the course, will be just what I need to push myself to start. As you say Kat – the secret to getting ahead is getting started. Thank you for the push.
