  • 4 shortcut bacon pieces, sliced
  • 4 spring onion, sliced
  • 4 eggs
  • 400ml cream
  • 50g butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup scone mix
  • 1 cup tasty cheese, grated


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C, fan forced.
  2. In a small frypan, add bacon and onion, cook until bacon has browned.
  3. In an electric mixer add eggs, cream and butter, mix well.
  4. Add scone mix and cheese along with bacon and onion mixture.
  5. Mix to combined.
  6. Pour into a pie dish.
  7. Cook for 40 minutes until center has set.
  8. Allow to cool for 10 min before serving.
