butter, softened - 135g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 150g self-raising flour
- 40g cocoa
- 125g milk chocolate melts
- 75g milk choc chips
- 100g white choc chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 160°C, fan forced.
- Line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper or silicone mats.
- Melt milk chocolate melts in the microwave, following packet instructions, set aside.
- Place the butter and sugar into your thermomix bowl, mix 30
sec / speed 6. - Add egg and vanilla extract, mix 20 sec / speed 4.
- Add flour, cocoa and melted chocolate, mix 10 sec / speed 4.
- Scrape the bowl 10
sec / speed 4 or until mixture has combined. - Add the choc chips, mix 20 sec / speed 3 / reverse.
- Place heaped tablespoons of mixture onto prepared oven trays, flatten slightly.
- Bake in oven for 10-12 mins or until golden.
- Cool on trays for 5 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack.
