Canningvale is an Australian online brand that deals in homeware, furniture, bedding, and bath ware.  Founded in 1977 Giovanni and Frank Prainito, Canningvale was inspired by founder Giovanni Prainito’s association with a terry towel mill in Bergamo, Italy. 

He decided to move some weaving looms and migrate to Australia, following his visit to Perth in 1975. Within months, Giovanni’s son, Frank joined his father, and by 1981 the company has based its operations out of Canning Vale, appropriately taking up the name Canningvale Weaving Mills.
