Wasabi Chicken Meatballs

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g chicken mince
  • 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 egg, lightly whisked
  • 1 tsp Wasabi paste
  • 1 tbs coconut oil
  • Salt and pepper to season
  • Mayonnaise, to serve

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl combine the mince, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, soy sauce, egg and wasabi paste. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix well with your hands
  3. Roll bit size tablespoons of mixture into balls
  4. Place on a plate or tray, then refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile prepare your side salad
  6. Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Cook meatballs for 5-8 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Drizzle with mayo and serve with salad.
