Halloween ‘Sorry we are out of Lollies’ printable

by Katrina - The Organised Housewife

My eldest two are 9 and they still have not been trick or treating for Halloween.  For a number of reasons, I don’t like them asking strangers for lollies, I don’t like them eating lollies strangers have given them (especially the ones not in wrapper) and it’s an American tradition that I didn’t grow up participating in.  However, this year my kids have been invited to a Halloween party, so they will be participating in their first ever trick or treat, they are super excited.  After I get back from my trip to Sydney I will be frantically putting together 3 costumes.

We have always purchased lollies for the neighbourhood kids who knock on the door, they come dressed up in such creative costumes with big smiles on their faces.  But there are usually more knocks on the door than I expect which then finds me out of lollies. I feel awful answering the door and having nothing to give.  This year I am prepared, I made up a little print that I can put on the door:
