I was completely taken in by Never Lie by Freida McFadden. Just when I thought I had the ending figured out, the story took a turn I didn’t see coming. Freida’s skillful writing kept me guessing and engaged throughout. Her ability to craft such unpredictable twists is truly impressive.

"How are you? The three most useless words in the universe of communication. Nobody who asks that question wants to know the answer. And nobody who answers ever tells the truth."

Never Lie by Freida McFadden

Never Lie follows newlyweds Tricia and Ethan as they search for their dream home. They find themselves trapped by a snowstorm in a remote manor that once belonged to Dr. Adrienne Hale, a renowned psychiatrist who vanished without a trace years ago. As they explore the house, they uncover hidden secrets that blur the line between truth and deception.

My Favourite Quotes from Never Lie

  • How are you? The three most useless words in the universe of communication. Nobody who asks that question wants to know the answer. And nobody who answers ever tells the truth.
  • Liars fidget. The tone of their voice or speech patterns changes. Liars offer too much information, babbling on with excessive detail to convince themselves or others of what they are saying.
  • Apparently, asking him to commit murder was a deal breaker.

The Never Lie Character Fan Art

When I read, I love imagining what the characters might look like in real life. Fan art brings them to life outside the pages, adding extra depth to the story. I’ve shared some beautiful fan art below to help you picture them too.
