I listened to Listen for the Lie by Amy Tintera after it was recommended to me, and I’m so glad I did. The audiobook has a bit of a podcast feel, with phone calls and interviews woven through the story, I think they call it mixed media. It made it feel easy to follow and added something a little different to a traditional audiobook. I was trying to work out who the murderer was the whole way through and didn’t pick it at all. If you enjoy a good mystery with a twist, this one’s a fun listen.
Listen for the Lie is being adapted into a TV series, with That ’70s Show and Orange is the New Black Laura Prepon set to star!
Everyone loves a true crime podcast... until they're in one.
