In the Likely Event by Rebecca Yarros might just be my favourite read of the year so far. I’m still thinking about this one. It had me hooked from the first chapter and left me with happy tears by the end. I don’t usually pick up military romances, but this one surprised me in the best way. There was something about the way the characters met, their connection, and how fate kept bringing them back together that just hit me in the heart.
"Sometimes, the people you meet by chance are the ones who leave the biggest mark."

A Little About the Book (No Spoilers)
This is a beautifully emotional second-chance romance about two strangers whose lives are forever changed after a traumatic event. It follows their individual journeys, the years that pass, and the moments that pull them back together. With a mix of military life, family complications, and love that spans time and distance, it’s the kind of story that stays with you.

In The Likely Event Character Fan Art
When I read, I love imagining what the characters might look like in real life. Fan art brings them to life outside the pages, adding extra depth to the story. I’ve shared some beautiful fan art below to help you picture them too.

Spice Rating
In books I have given 3 spice rating, you will find mild spice with short, non-explicit scenes. Great for readers who enjoy a touch of romance without intense detail.
