I was babysitting a friends little boy recently and made him some stewed rhubarb with apple and strawberries. It was so good the rest of my family had it for dessert that night too!!
I made it in the Thermomix, but I have included a regular recipe below too. This recipe is in the Thermomix Everyday Cookbook, I’ve made it a few times now and I prefer to make it with the apple peeled otherwise you will get chunks of apple peel throughout which is not too pleasant especially for little ones.
