Thermomix Pizza Dough


  • 2 teaspoons (7g/1 sachet) dried yeast
  • 300g water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 20g extra virgin olive oil
  • 500g bakers flour


  1. Lightly grease a large bowl with oil and set aside.
  2. Place yeast, water, salt, sugar and oil into bowl, mix 2 min / 37deg / speed 2
  3. Add flour, mix 6 sec / speed 6.
  4. Knead dough 2 min / kneading (wheat symbol).
  5. Transfer dough into prepared bowl and shape into a ball.
  6. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and set aside to prove in a warm place until doubled in size, for approx 1 hour.
  7. Divide dough into 2 and roll out to form round pizza bases.
  8. Set aside for 20 minutes to rise again slightly.
  9. Spread desired toppings over pizza bases and bake for 20-25 minutes in a 230°C preheated oven.
