Pear and maple syrup fruit rolls

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg jar pear slices in juice drained
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to lowest temperature.
  2. Line two baking trays with baking paper.
  3. Place pear and maple syrup in the jug of a blender or bowl of a food processor. Process until smooth.
  4. Divide puree evenly onto baking trays. Use a spatula to spread.
  5. Place in oven and cook for 3 hours or until the mix is dried and not sticky.
  6. Slice into desired size and place in an airtight container.

Hi Katrina.
Would you be able to advise of your dehydrator method as my oven min temp is 120 and I can’t seem to get the thickness. When I remove the leather its more like a flake and not leathery at all ?Please help.
