Last weekend we purchased a few packets of croissants as they were on special at the local grocery store. We had some yummy ham and cheese croissants for lunch, but we found we had a few left over and we didn’t want to leave them to waste. Miss 9 came up with a fantastic idea… nutella croissant pudding. We made a similar pudding a few months ago with bread. Loved her idea, Miss 9 made this dessert all by herself.
sprinkled with pecans for a little crunch
she is totally in her element!
serve with icecream!

This looks delicious! Well done to your clever daughter.
hmmmm looks yummy
Just got back from the grocery store. When I was there me and Miss 4 waited for anther mum and her daughter to move out of the way so we could get our croissants. Next minute, we bump into them again buying chocolate spread. We just winked at each other knowing we were both there because of you Katrina!
Thanks for all you do!

Hi Katrina, I have made this many times for gatherings and potlucks and it was such a hit!
I even receive several requests by friends to make this.
Very yummy and yet so easy to make.
Thanks so much! 🙂
Can someone help me? Does the custard refer to custard powder or ready-made custard and how much do you use? Or is it the eggs, cream sugar etc all mixed together? Any help would be appreciated… I’ve not made anything like this before :/
Hi Katie, Yes i use the ingredients to make the custard and then pour it over the crossants.:)
