How awesome is the microwave jug?! I lie it and it gets used ALL the time. Tupperware released a microwave steamer into our regular range this month. It has a metal case so the food is not cooked by the microwaves but where the water is stored is the same kind of material as the microwave jug so the water is heated effectively to steam your food. Has 2 layers too so you can steam your veggies and your meat 🙂 Its awesome!

When you want one let me know.

I have a huge, 8 cup capacity, Pyrex jug for this purpose. I use a little stock too, or a small amount of water and some fresh herbs. No soggy veggies and so tasty 🙂
