Saucy Caramel Pudding

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup gluten-free self raising flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 20 g butter melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • caramel sauce
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 30 g butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C fan forced.
  2. Grease deep 1 litre oven proof dish.
  3. Combine sifted flour,sugar, butter and milk in medium-sized bowl.
  4. Pour mixture into dish.
  5. Make caramel sauce.
  6. Pour sauce slowly over back of spoon evenly into mixture in dish.
  7. Bake pudding about 50 mins.
  8. Stand 10mins before serving.
  9. CARAMEL SAUCE: combine ingredients in small saucepan, stir over medium heat, without boiling, until smooth.
