Summer days call for icy drinks and who doesn’t love a slushie? Try these adult slushie recipes for the perfect refresher on a hot day or night.

Years ago I was a Tupperware Demonstrator, hence my love for an organised pantry! As a demonstrator we usually had to make something in front of the guests to showcase how to use the products. My most popular recipe that I cooked at nearly every demonstration was the champagne slushie.

I don’t drink alcohol often, but I do LOVE this recipe and am happy to indulge in one of these occasionally. I’ve also put together a list of more delicious looking adult slushie recipes.

Simple Syrup is a mixture of 1 part white sugar to 1 part water – in a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool. Or you can buy buy it premade at Dan Murphys 🙂

You can also create your own flavoured simple syrups by adding zest to the water and sugar mixture . For example I’ve made orange simple syrup just by adding some orange peel to the mix. It’s pretty yummy!

Those raspberry mango margaritas look amazing!
