- 2 teaspoons (7g/1 sachet) dried yeast
- 300g water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 20g extra virgin olive oil
- 500g bakers flour
Instructions
- Lightly grease a large bowl with oil and set aside.
- Place yeast, water, salt, sugar and oil into bowl, mix 2 min / 37deg / speed 2
- Add flour, mix 6 sec / speed 6.
- Knead dough 2 min / kneading (wheat symbol).
- Transfer dough into prepared bowl and shape into a ball.
- Cover bowl with plastic wrap and set aside to prove in a warm place until doubled in size, for approx 1 hour.
- Divide dough into 2 and roll out to form round pizza bases.
- Set aside for 20 minutes to rise again slightly.
- Spread desired toppings over pizza bases and bake for 20-25 minutes in a 230°C preheated oven.
