Mac and Cheese is such a classic recipe but it’s a favourite for a reason! I love being able to whip up comfort food like this so quickly and the fact I could it all in the pressure cooker instead of using multiple dishes is a bonus! It only took 20 minutes! My son loved it so much, he had it for lunch the next day.
I made a delicious ham, black pepper and parmesan risotto in the Multicooker not long ago. With the pressure and non-pressure settings, you can even make yogurt and bake cakes in it!

A deliciously creamy mac and cheese made from scratch with a smooth, cheesy sauce and tender pasta. It’s quick to make, comforting, and always a family favourite for weeknight dinners.

Great recipe! Thank you! I’d not done pasta in the pressure cooker before. Very very easy to follow recipe & turned out beautifully. I must admit though, that I changed a few ingredients to adapt to what I had on hand. I had no bacon & I don’t usually have onion or garlic powder. I did have onion & garlic though, so I sauteed the onion & garlic instead of bacon ? but everything else was as per the recipe. Will definitely be making this again, next time with bacon. Right now though I’m off to check out your pumpkin spinach and feta muffin recipe ?
Mac and cheese does come up so well in the pressure cooker, doesn’t it? I’m glad you were able to improvise and make it work so well!
