Nuts & Bolts Recipe


  • 2 1/2 cups Nutri-Grain cereal
  • 2 1/2 cups unsalted mixed nuts
  • 1/2 cup of chickpeas
  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1/3 cup olive oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
  3. Combine the olive oil and seasonings in a small jug, mix to combine.
  4. Pour the oil mixture into the large bowl over the cereal/nut mix and stir well to coat.
  5. Pour onto a lined baking tray.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, stirring once at 5 mins. Don’t walk away as it may burn.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.
