This Chocolate Sprinkle Cookie recipe is a delicious chocolatey sweet treat. Perfect for afternoon tea or as a little lunchbox treat.

Ingredients

  • 200g Butter at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup Caster Sugar
  • 1 tin Condensed Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 1/2 cups SR Flour
  • 1/2 cup Plain Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups White Choc Melts
  • Hundreds and Thousands

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C, fan forced.
  2. Use a silicone baking tray or line a baking tray with baking paper or a silicone mat.
  3. With an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar for 1-2 minutes, until light and fluffy.
  4. Add condensed milk and vanilla. Beat until combined.
  5. Stir in flours and cocoa.
  6. Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls, place on tray.
  7. Bake for approximately 15 minutes.
  8. Rest on tray for 5 minutes, before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely
  9. Melt chocolate uncovered in microwave safe bowl on medium until melted approx. 2-3min.
  10. Spoon a teaspoon chocolate onto each cookie. Sprinkle with hundreds and thousands.
  11. Stand until chocolate is set.
