An incredibly easy and delicious Bacon and Onion Dip recipe, perfect for taking along to an upcoming party or gathering – plus it only takes minutes to prepare!
Dips are so quick and easy to throw together. I love to have them on hand in the fridge for moments when I’m feeling peckish or for when unexpected guests drop in. I love to serve this Bacon and Onion Dip with crackers or vegetable sticks, and it’s also the perfect dip to serve at an upcoming Christmas gathering or social event.
My taste buds have really changed lately, and I am enjoying more savoury foods than sweet. I’ve really enjoyed having this dip in the fridge with some freshly cut up carrot or celery sticks.

Hi Katrina, jut wondering how long this would keep in the fridge and whether it is freezable?
Love your work!
Cheers,
Kara
Hi Kara, I have kept it in the fridge for about 5 -7 days. I have never frozen it only because i think it would separate once it was defrosted.
I just made this for the adults table at my three year old’s party this weekend – it’s fantastic! I used Parma ham instead of bacon and it worked a treat! Thank you for the recipe x
So glad you enjoyed it, it’s one of my favourites… who am I kidding I love any kinda dip!!
BACON AND ONION DIP is the best item to serve in any occation.
Couldn’t agree more! 🙂
Delicious, Thankyou!
My absolute pleasure! Kat x
Love the dip. I usually make the Million Dollar dip which is a famous dip but this version is a little lighter with the cream cheese. I added 1/2 cup of grated cheddar and finely sliced spring onions. Now it’s a combo of the 2 dips. Tastes ? amazing.
Ooo that sounds lovely! Thank you for sharing this feedback with me Monika 🙂 Kat x
