- 1 packet of puff pastry
- Apple puree (baby food)
- Cinnamon
- 1 egg for glazing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Let the pastry defrost and then cut into about 8cm strips.
- Pastry sheet with some apple puree and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- You then pinch each end together and start twisting from the outside in to form a “twirl” or “twist” whichever word you like better!
- Put them onto the prepared baking tray and then whisk up the egg in a small bowl. With a pastry brush glaze with the egg wash.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden and bubbly and there you have some edible fun!
- These are best eaten warm from the oven or at least on the day of making. You can also make savoury varieties parmesan or pesto would be nice I think.
