If you love your Thermomix as much as I do, this Thermomix Bacon and Onion Dip will quickly become one of your go-to recipes. It’s creamy, full of flavour, and comes together in minutes. Perfect for when friends are popping over, for your next barbecue, or to enjoy as a simple savoury snack at home.

The Thermomix makes dips so easy. It does all the chopping, stirring, and blending for you, saving time and washing up. The bacon and onion add a beautiful savoury flavour, the cream cheese and sour cream make it deliciously creamy, and the chives bring a lovely freshness that ties it all together.
I often make this dip ahead of time, so it’s ready to serve when guests arrive. The flavours develop beautifully after chilling for a few hours, and it keeps well in the fridge for up to 3–4 days. Serve it with crackers, vegetable sticks, or toasted pita bread, and watch it disappear quickly.
It’s also a great recipe to bring along to gatherings or picnics, as it travels well and pairs nicely with so many different foods. I’ve even used it as a spread inside wraps or sandwiches for a savoury twist — it’s a delicious way to use up leftovers.
If you’re new to using your Thermomix for dips, this recipe is a great place to start. It’s quick, reliable, and has that homemade flavour that always feels special.
