Some of the most beneficial tools that I have here at home have to be my kids routine charts, eliminating the constant, are you dressed yet, did you remember to brush your teeth? The nagging, then the rush out the door. Not only are they a reminder for the kids, they help ME and make it a better start to the day.
The other chart that has helped so much this year is our responsibility (chore) chart. I can’t remember the last time I unpacked the dishwasher. I allocated this job to the kids, each day one unpacks the cutlery, the other the bottom rack and another the top rack. They do this before they leave for school so I can then repack it with dirty dishes through the day. If they have completed their responsibility tasks through the week they will receive a tick on the reward chart which at the end of the week is a record for pocket money earned. Here are some ideas on what responsibilities you can give your kids.
I have had fun giving The Organised Housewife SHOP a makeover, fresh new look. Along with the fresh new look I have also added a few NEW printables.
