I am very excited to be visiting Kuala Lumpur next week for the Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards 2011. This will be my second overseas flight. The first was to Fiji, 4 hour plane ride in what felt like the smallest, squishiest and noisiest plane.
I’d like to say a special thankyou to Air Asia X for sponsoring my flights over to Kuala Lumpur and I’m honoured to be one of their selected guests at the blog awards. I have been told that Air Asia X (not to be confused with Air Asia who operate for short-haul flights, being 4 hours or less) will have plenty of space and leg room, so I imagine our trip will be very comfortable. Premium seats and comfort kits are an option for those that would like to fly in complete luxury. Your choice in meals can be preordered Chicken Hot Dog sounds yummy. I think I will be set! I’m really looking forward to my trip to KL and spending some time with my roomie Mel from One Crafty Mumma and meeting Sarah from A Beach Cottage!! The Aussie Nuffnang crew are a hoot I am sure they will look after us very well!
AirAsia X flies to 16 destinations to date including: Japan (Haneda & Osaka), Korea (Incheon), Australia (Melbourne, Perth & Gold Coast), India (New Delhi & Mumbai), China (Tianjin, Hangzhou & Chengdu), Taiwan (Taipei), Iran (Tehran), Paris (Orly), London (Gatwick) and New Zealand (Christchurch).
To prepare myself for the time away, I have put together a travel Itinerary. I will copy this for Mr Organised Housewife so he has full details of my flights and where I am staying. This printable will also help you to prepare for your holiday. FREE for you to download.
