Some teething problems

by Katrina - The Organised Housewife

Firstly I have to say how much I love you all for visiting and reading my blog, you know I absolutely LOVE writing and sharing with you how I run my household.  Over the past few months there has been a wonderful increase in traffic, welcome to all my new readers!  However, my little blog that I have created/made myself decided it couldn’t cope with so many visitors and spat the dummy.  It decided to run really slow and annoy us all.

blog needing updating

So I hired the most wonderful tech team (I am so appreciative for their help) to help me make some improvements so the blog is user friendly and super fast for you, but there have been some teething problems.

155009909_wideThe blog is still working so you can access everything, however in places it may just look a little different for now, recipes might not be formatting correctly or it may spit the dummy again and crash (if it does it will be back online promptly).  But PLEASE be patient, all my fingers and toes are crossed that it will be up and running full function and quickly for you very very soon.

This week I was meant to start a new challenge, like the 52 things declutter challenge I ran last year.  I have pushed the launch of the new challenge back a little to start when the website is working perfectly.

As for me this has put me behind and messed up all my plans which is making me a little (very) stressed, but I just have to…

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, we will be celebrating my twinnies birthday, as I have two kids celebrating on one day it usually turns into a big weekend of celebrations giving them enough time to celebrate individually, together and with family.

Again thank you for your patience

Kat xx

All the best with the technology issues Kat, it must be frustrating but hopefully it will all run smoothly again soon. I love your blog and enjoy putting your tips into practice. i bought your morning, evening and night routine charts for my girls this week and it gives me great peace to have a routine up on the wall for them to follow. With a 7 week old baby it makes it so much less chaotic to have a routine for the girls (aged 4 & 6) to follow. thanks for all your hard work Kat, we appreciate you and your organisation. i think organisation is a gift, some people do it naturally and others of us learn from those who do it naturally! so thanks for taking the time to share your gift with others. Ooh Jasmine thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! Your words mean a lot to me. I have been so stressed the past few weeks with the blog not running how i want it too. Hopefully the worst is over and it will be back running bigger, better and faster. x

I completely agree with Jasmine Kat, you are an inspiration to us all. I have put a lot of your tips into practice and started using the routine charts for my 5 year old who was recently diagnosed with ADHD and it has helped our family immensely. Your 20 day challenge which I will be doing again this year has helped in ways I couldn’t imagine. So keep up the brilliant work of inspiring others to be organised in their life. xx Ebony
