As you all know I think highly of my friend Naomi from the Seven Cherubs blog and without hesitation I was happy to share with you all a conference which she is helping to put together.
Power of Moms is essentially a ‘gathering place for deliberate mothers’ and a website that is very unique. They offer uplifting articles written on motherhood, and offer podcasts and programs to help mothers take care of “the person inside the mum” while learning, growing and progressing as mothers and women. It is a network of women that are focused on growing through motherhood, not just going through it. It is a website that inspires and encourages mothers to find joy in the everyday and to be their best. Not better than someone else, but their own kind of best. I am a big fan of the site and love the outlook and philosophies they have on Motherhood.
The Power of Moms will be holding two Retreats in the coming weeks here in Australia. One will be held on the Gold Coast on Friday 9th and Saturday the 10th March, and the second will be held in Sydney on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th March. Both Retreats will be held in private (stunning) homes and can seat a maximum of 85 guests (and will have lots of delicious food catered by wonderful companies such as Umbrella Events Brisbane).
To spend a weekend with other mums, hearing their thoughts, ideas and how it works for them sounds liberating. One of the sessions that catches my eye was creating family systems, whilst every family is different you can adapt this to suit your family.
