Styling Ideas for Teen Girls Desks

by Katrina - The Organised Housewife

I am looking at changing the desks in my girls bedrooms.  I shared with you here a few years ago, about why I wish I didn’t buy desks for their rooms.  They now use their desks to do their homework independently, but having the hutch above makes their room look cluttered.  We have been looking for some styling ideas for teen girls desks, which I thought I would share with you too. This will help me work out the style of desk that will suit each of their rooms.

I love those see-thru chairs! My daughter has a small bedroom and one of those would really help to open it up a little!

They all look great, the hardest part is deciding….it is the opposite in our household, she used her desk all the time whilst in primary and now she is in high school she uses the computer/desk downstairs, listens to music, whilst doing her homework. No computers or devices are allowed in the bedrooms. But we will leave the desk in her room, we have led strip lights which she can change the colours depending on the mood she wants to create, blue, green, red, yellow, flashing, strobe etc.

I love the first one and the Bondville set-up. (I also like all the others, but they are my favourite). I wonder if the black and white stripes down the wall might be too distracting out of the corner of her eye- personally I find those types of stripes hard to look at (they hurt my aging eyes!!) Have a great time re-decorating
