My Miss 11 loves her fruit, she is happy to eat it whole or sliced up, she is not fussed at all. But when I visit the farmers market I usually pick up some passionfruit at a good price, this is when she cuts up the fruit and makes a delicious fruit salad drizzled with passionfruit.
She’ll serve up the fruit salad and have for afternoon tea or for breakfast with a dollop of yoghurt or served in an individual container for school lunch the next day.
It’s great to see the kids in the kitchen preparing food, not just for themselves but to share with the family. The kids also like these fruit cups, it’s a great way to get fruit into the fussy eaters, you can add a dollop of yoghurt on top.
