Yes… I had moments when I used to cry behind the bathroom door

by Katrina - The Organised Housewife

I’m the first to admit I love a good checklist and chart and you’ll never find me without one or the other!  However, I’ve not always been so organised.  Flashback to when I was a young mum with twins: My house was a mess…. my sanity was shot. When I wasn’t struggling to deal with the clean pile of Mt. Washmore on our couch, I was crying my heart out behind the closed bathroom door, groundhog days got the better of me. I wished desperately for a way to get on top of the cooking, cleaning, chores, and caring for myself a bit…something that had faded away since the babies were born.

I asked the mother’s group I was in for advice but sadly, they were struggling too!  It took a fair amount of trial-and-error for me to realise that routines and schedules held the key to keep the home tidy, clothes washed, kids fed and happy and have a clean kitchen at the end of the day.

The 20 Days to Organise and Clean your Home eCourse is back!! This eCourse has been described as "a gym membership, but rather than getting your body fit — it’s getting your house clean!" in perfect timing just before Easter.

It may not seem like rocket science but when you’re a young mum, trying to juggle babies, dishes, laundry, cooking, chores and errands, it can drive you stir crazy and leave you feeling like a failure. I created systems that worked for us and since then, have used those foundational principles to keep up with our changing family dynamics.

I created the 20 Days to Organise and Clean your Home eCourse that has been described as “a gym membership, but rather than getting your body fit — it’s getting your house clean!”

Kat, you are a true inspiration, I love how raw and honest you are because being a mother is so hard and it’s good to know that even you who seems to have the plot all together struggled too. Much love you you.
