Broom Cupboard
That cupboard that you store your broom, vacuum cleaner, ironing board etc.
View what I keep in my cupboard here
Todays task is to:
Empty out the cupboard and return only the items that you have used in the past 6-8 months, purge all other items you have not used.
How many items have you been able to purge today?
I would like to see a photo of your purge pile on Instagram, use the hashtag #declutter52

If only I had a broom cupboard, sigh!
Wow. Someone needs to declutter their cleaning supplies!! They spent money on that hanging thing when all they really needed to do was get rid of something! Hell, I’m a hoarder and I don’t even have that many cleaning supplies.
I was thinking the same thing!!! Nobody needs that amount of choice when it comes to cleaning!!
@tanya I wish I had a broom cupboard as well. Everything gets shoved into the laundry or computer room cupboard. We don’t have much storage space at our house.
Small laundry’s should have been banned 40yrs ago when they were built, lol. My poor vaccum cleaner, ironing board, clothes baskets & airers live out in the family room unless we are having visitors and I shove everything in the laundry and then I have to be careful nothing falls over and gets stuck behind the door so I can open it to pull it all out again so I can find the washing machine.
i just purchased a 2 metre tall broom closet from Ikea for around $200. It has one shelf that i put on the bottom about 30 cm high and the mop bucket fits there along with a caddy with cleaning products. brooms and my dyson hand stick vacuum go in there and I had electrician run a power point into the back of the cupboard to power up the stick vac. so organised, so happy !!!
