Declutter 52 things in 52 weeks - Task 11

Your memory, write all your upcoming events into your calendar

Before I had kids I had a fantastic memory.  I used to work in the accounts department for a tourism company in my early 20s and I could easily remember numbers, know the names of over 100 employees, but these days it’s just not the same.  After I had kids I called it baby brain, but now my youngest is 9 that’s no excuse, my memory is jut not the same.  It’s important for me to write down events as soon as I learn about them, otherwise there is a big likely hood I will forget about it.

Todays task is to:

Write down all upcoming events, birthdays, anniversaries and due dates in your calendar.  Don’t forget Easter is approaching, include any gatherings you may have around this time.

How good is your memory?

Miss Tween wanted to put this calendar in her room.  Last year we punched two holes in top of the printable, threaded through some ribbon and hung it onto her wall, but in time the paper drooped on each corner and didn’t’ sit flush.  This year are trying something a little different.

I removed the cover and spine from a 3D Ring Binder (from OfficeWorks).  I chose a 3 ring binder to keep the corners of the paper from drooping.

I attached 3M Command Picture Hanging Strips to the back of the folder

Then placed the folder onto the wall

This looks really neat and will be easy for her to flip through the months
