Coming up with meals one day at a time can mean multiple grocery trips during the week. Consider meal planning in order to save time, money and effort.
BENEFITS OF MEAL PLANNING
Each week I plan my meals for the following week. This is called meal or menu planning. It really is a simple task that takes 5-10 minutes. The money and time this saves me throughout my week makes it well worth the effort.

I finally sat down to plan this morning:
Monday: Steak & veggies (holdover from last week)
Tuesday: Chicken & veg casserole (using leftover roast chicken)
Wednesday: Sar Hor Fun (favourite Asian noodle dish!)
Thursday: Pasta Bolognese
Friday: Fend for yourself Friday
Saturday: Quiche & veg (use leftover pastry from last weekend)
Sunday: Potato & leek Soup with bread
