Weekly Family Meal Plan #235

Inspired by the wonderful meal ideas you shared with me recently on Facebook, I’ve created this weekly family meal plan.  Incorporate your favourite dishes that you’ve been enjoying for dinner.


Roast Chicken and Vegetables – “Roast chicken with roast potatoes pumpkin beans & carrots & cauliflower & white sauce & off course homemade gravy” Carol


Beef Taco’s – These tacos are a fresh and flavourful twist on everyone’s favourite Mexican meal.


Pasta & Chicken Bake – “I must admit I cheated and just used jar of tomato & mozzarella bake sauce as the base but added chicken and veg (spinach, red capsicum, mushroom & onion) to bulk it up. So nothing fancy, I just wanted something hearty I could reheat quickly for the family and not have to think once I got in the door!” – Veronica


Grilled Salmon and vegetables – easy dinner idea.


Baked pumpkin & pancetta risotto– a deliciously comforting dish that combines creamy risotto with the flavors of roasted pumpkin and savory pancetta.


Ham, Cheese and Tomato Toasted Sandwich – with a small serving of chips.


French onion lamb shank casserole – Let your slow-cooker do the hard work with this simple and delicious winter casserole.


Banana Cake recipe that is better than Sara Lee – This iconic treat, reminiscent of my cherished childhood gatherings, holds the power to evoke nostalgia and create lasting memories.


Each week I plan my meals for the following week. This is called meal or menu planning. It really is a simple task that takes 5-10 minutes. The money and time this saves me throughout my week makes it well worth the effort.
