We all know that feeding our family tasty and healthy meals is a top priority, but sometimes it can be hard when we’re trying to stick to a budget. I’ll share some amazing family budget-friendly meals for this weekly family meal planning.
MONDAY
Chicken Kebab with noodle stir-fry – This is a great, tasty and super easy weeknight meal that will be ready in 20 minutes.
TUESDAY
Minute Steak, Mashed Potato and Steamed Vegetables – keep it simple with minute steak. Add gravy over the top if desired.
WEDNESDAY
Beef Chow Mein – A fast and easy beef chow mein dinner recipe that’s packed with veggies, noodles and lots of flavour – it’s a great recipe for all ages!
THURSDAY
Tuna Mornay – Tuna mornay is a creamy dish made with canned tuna, pasta and a white sauce. Its comforting and savoury flavours on top of toast make for night light dinner.
FRIDAY
No-Oven Pizza – Jaime Oliver’s stovetop pizza is a delightful twist on a classic favourite, defying all traditional conventions! This ingenious hack requires just one pan and a single burner, eliminating the need for an oven. It’s more affordable and packs a nutritious punch. I add left over lunch meats to this recipe too.
SATURDAY
Mac ‘n cheese with bacon – this is a popular budget-friendly dinner idea as it uses affordable ingredients, adaptable (add grated vegetables and flavourings into it if you wish), satisfying on a cold night and easy to cook.
SUNDAY
Creamy Roast Pumpkin Soup – Make a double batch of this delicious recipe and freeze for another night.
BAKING
Nutella Muffins – These Nutella Muffins are moist with oozing Nutella in the centre, perfect for the chocolate lover. Plus they are freezer friendly too!
