Plan your meals each week to save you time, stress and money! Here are some ideas for fast and easy family dinners this week.


Each week I plan my meals for the following week, this is called meal or menu planning. Some think it’s not worth it, but it really is a simple task that takes 5-10 minutes to plan one week of meals. The money and time that these five minutes save me throughout my week, makes it well worth the effort.


One Pan Cheesy Chicken, Broccoli and Rice – I love a one pan dinner as there’s less washing up! This one is easy and fast to get on the table.


Salmon Quinoa Fritters – My family always loved these fritters – they are great served with either vegetables or salad.


Sesame and Shallot Beef Noodles – A simple and budget-friendly weeknight dinner that’ll keep the whole family happy.


Steak and veg – Simply grab some steaks and serve with your favourite vegetables.


Turkey Avocado Veggie Wraps – Friday nights are a breeze with these easy wraps!


Homemade Cream of Tomato Soup – Serve this delicious soup with some yummy bread either as an appetiser or a meal. This is a great lighter option if you’d had a big weekend lunch!


Red Bean Quesadillas with Avo Corn Salsa – If you love Mexican but you want to eat less meat, this is a great budeget-friendly option. Veg Kit have a great range of plant-based meals to choose from.


Homemade Hummus – I often make up a batch of hummus as it’s so delicious when it’s homemade. This is great to have on hand for snacks – pop it in a snack and dip container with veggie sticks for a healthy school snack.
