How do you make a busy week easier? Make a meal plan! Knowing exactly what to cook and when, saves you time, money and stress. Check out this week’s family meal plan.


Each week I plan my meals for the following week, this is called meal or menu planning. Some think it’s not worth it, but it really is a simple task that takes 5-10 minutes to plan one week of meals. The money and time that these five minutes save me throughout my week, makes it well worth the effort.


30-minute Gnocchi Bolognese – Delicious and easy, gnocchi is a versatile pasta that pairs perfectly with this fast-to-make bolognese sauce.


Sausages with Fresh Corn, Avocado and Tomato Salad – Cook or BBQ sausages and serve with this fresh salad. Add a baked potato to fill up hungry tummies.


Fast Family Chicken Pie – This is such an easy pie to make – grab a cooked chicken or use your pre-made shredded chicken for a quick weeknight dinner.


Fish Tacos – Mix up your Mexican options with these delish fish tacos.


Easy Homemade Au Jus – It sounds super fancy but this is what they call a ‘French dip sandwich’ – very yummy to enjoy on a bread roll at the end of the week.


Barbecued Butter Chicken Skewers – Throw this together on the barbecue for a relaxed weekend dinner.


Chilli Con Carne – Serve up a classic favourite meal on Sunday night – there’s nothing better!


Pumpkin, Feta and Spinach Muffins – Swap the sandwiches for these savoury muffins in the lunchbox this week. Perfect to freeze and grab and go on busy mornings as they’ll thaw by lunch time.
