BENEFITS OF MEAL PLANNING

Each week I plan my meals for the following week, this is called meal or menu planning. Some think it’s not worth it, but it really is a simple task that takes 5-10 minutes to plan one week of meals. The money and time that these five minutes save me throughout my week, makes it well worth the effort.

MONDAY

Healthy Bruschetta Chicken – A tomato bruschetta mix on top of an oven baked chicken? Yum!

TUESDAY

Vegetarian lasagne – even the carnivores in the family will likely enjoy this hearty, cheesy lasagne!

WEDNESDAY

Spiced Chicken with Sesame and Cashew Rice – This stir fry is so delicious, quick and the perfect weeknight dinner – use up any veggies you may have in the fridge.

THURSDAY

Creamy Chorizo Pasta – An easy and delicious creamy pasta recipe sure to please the crowd! 

FRIDAY

Homemade Fish Burgers – A super easy throw-together meal, where everyone can make their own. 

  • Pull out some frozen Fish Fillets from the freezer
  • Bake until golden and cooked through
  • Cut up some lettuce, salad sides and grab out sauces
  • Make your own burgers! These are delish on brioche buns.

SATURDAY

Feta and Mint Pearl Couscous Salad – This couscous can be served, hot, cold or at room temperature, and it’s so easy to make!

SUNDAY

French style salmon and potatoes –This creamy salmon dish hits the mark!

BAKING

Rice pudding with raspberries – Enjoy raspberries while they are in season with the yummy dessert.
