BENEFITS OF MEAL PLANNING

Each week I plan my meals for the following week, this is called meal or menu planning. Some think it’s not worth it, but it really is a simple task that takes 5-10 minutes to plan one week of meals. The money and time that these five minutes save me throughout my week, makes it well worth the effort.

MONDAY

Pasta Carbonara – This is an easy meal to make and so delicious for a Monday night indulgence! I added some pasta water to make it a bit more saucy.

TUESDAY

15 Minute Soy Sauce Butter Fried Rice – This one is so quick and yummy, it’s bound to become a regular addition to your meal planning. It’s a great vegetarian option with eggs for protein.

WEDNESDAY

Chicken Quesadillas – Packed with flavour, these quick and easy quesadillas are perfect for a weeknight meal.

THURSDAY

Easy Steak Salad – Keep it simple with thin steak slices over a salad and your favourite dressing.

FRIDAY

Reuben Casserole – All the ingredients of the classic Reuben sandwich in a casserole! Different and delicious.

FRIDAY

Chicken Kiev, Vegetables with Roasted Garlic Mash – Buy some ready-made Chicken Kievs at the supermarket and serve with vegetables and this yummy Roasted Garlic Mash.

SATURDAY

Creamy Garlic Prawns – This is one of my all-time most popular recipes! A great way to include seafood in your meal plan.

SUNDAY

Veggie Turkey Lettuce Wraps – Swap out traditional tacos for lettuce and enjoy a dinner high in nutrition and taste.

BAKING

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread – This fluffy and moist bread is such a treat and I love that it’s main ingredient is pumpkin!
