Here are 7 days of family friendly dinners that will help you feel organised and nourished throughout your week.

This week’s meal plan includes easy and nutritious recipes such as Lamb Meatballs, Zucchini and Vegetable Slice, Tray Baked Nachos and more.

BENEFITS OF MEAL PLANNING

Each week I plan my meals for the following week, this is called meal or menu planning. Some think it’s not worth it, but it really is a simple task that takes 5-10 minutes to plan one week of meals. The money and time that these five minutes save me throughout my week, makes it well worth the effort.

MONDAY

Lamb Meatballs – This dinner is deceptively fast to make! The chickpeas are a great complement to the lamb and salad.

TUESDAY

Zucchini and Vegetable Slice – This is one of my go-to recipes for both lunches and dinners – it’s a sneaky and delicious way to make sure the whole family gets their vegetable serving!

 

WEDNESDAY

Chicken and Vegetable Rissoles – Rissoles are a family favourite of ours. Serve with veggies, salad or use for burgers.

THURSDAY

Salmon Poke Bowl – Poke Bowls are so popular now, as well as nutritious and colourful. This 30-minute dinner is fast and easy to make.

FRIDAY

Tray Baked Nachos – Friday night recipes never looked so easy and yum! A one tray Baked Nachos with barely any clean-up. Don’t count on leftovers from this one.

 

SATURDAY

Chicken Caesar Salad –  Heading into the warmer months of spring, salads are an easy throw together dinner.

SUNDAY

Speedy Sausage Pizza – Wrap up the weekend with a yummy and cost effective dinner.

BAKING

Salted Caramel Bliss Balls – This sweet snack is perfect for lunchboxes or an afternoon pick-me-up! So simple and ready to eat within minutes.
