Each week I plan my meals for the following week, this is called meal or menu planning. Some think it’s not worth it, but it really is a simple task that takes 5-10 minutes to plan one week of meals. The money and time that these five minutes save me throughout my week, makes it well worth the effort.


Cheesy Tex Mex Zucchini Skillet – This recipe is a fantastic way to use zucchini. It’s packed with flavour and quick to make. 


Balsamic Glazed Salmon and Roasted Root Vegetables – This recipe looks impressive but actually takes around 30 minutes to make! 


Best Chicken Carbonara – Adding chicken to a classic carbonara is a great way to add nutrition to this yummy pasta meal.


Baked Pork Tenderloin with Seasoned Rub – This is an affordable and lean dinner option that goes well with veggies, salad or pasta salad. 


Savoury Mince on toast – Take it easy on Friday night with some savoury mince using some frozen veg.


Chicken Chow Mein – Filled with vegetables, chicken, chow mein sauce and noodles, this recipe makes an easy and warming winter dinner.


Healthy Spicy Beef and Black Bean Chili – Everyone has a chili recipe but this is a particularly healthy and quick one. You can reduce the spice for younger kids. Chili is a perfect winter Sunday night dinner.
