Each week I plan my meals for the following week, this is called meal or menu planning. Some think it’s not worth it, but it really is a simple task that takes 5-10 minutes to plan one week of meals. The money and time that these five minutes save me throughout my week, makes it well worth the effort.


Pad Thai – This recipe is easier than it looks! Treat the family to a yummy homemade Thai favourite.


Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef – The cool weather is just perfect for the slow cooker right now! This recipe is really delicious and it’s quick to pop all the ingredients in the slow cooker early in the day, making dinner time a breeze.


Pesto Chicken Noodle Bake – This is a great make-ahead recipe that is perfect served with vegetables or a salad.


Best Easy Creamy Fettuccine Alfredo – Pasta is such amazing comfort food on cold winter nights! This recipe is super simple and tastes great.


Family-style Fish Tacos – There are some great tips in this recipe to easily cook white fish to perfection. You can leave out the jalapeños if you have young kids and use coriander where it says cilantro.
