This week’s meal plan has some different but delicious recipes the whole family will love! Start the week with Sausages, mash and vegetables, enjoy the slow-cooker lasagne, flatbread pizza and more!

BENEFITS OF MEAL PLANNING

Each week I plan my meals for the following week, this is called meal or menu planning. Some think it’s not worth it, but it really is a simple task that takes 5-10 minutes to plan one week of meals. The money and time that these five minutes save me throughout my week, makes it well worth the effort.

MONDAY

Sausages, mash and steamed vegetables– Start your week off with this traditional bangers and mash with this sweet potato recipe.

TUESDAY

Easy slow-cooker lasagne –Combine mince, bolognese pasta sauce, and cheese to make this delicious slow-cooker lasagne.

 

WEDNESDAY

Flatbread Pizza – these flavour filed flatbread pizzas are so easy to make and a perfect mid-week meal. 

THURSDAY

Mexican Salsa Chicken – A simple  recipe that can be quickly turned into five very different (and super tasty!) family dinners.

FRIDAY

Quiche and Salad – This Crustless quiche is super easy to make and takes little effort!

SATURDAY

Frozen Pie and Chips– Go to your local supermarket and grab some frozen pie and chips and have an easy no-effort dinner!

SUNDAY

Best roast leg of lamb – A classic Sunday roast with roasted vegetables.

BAKING

Hummingbird Cake– This recipe with cream cheese icing has just jumped to the top of my list of favourite tasty cakes!
