Struggling to know what to cook for dinner? Each Monday I will share my families weekly meal plan and other recipes to help inspire you. I use easy family friendly recipes that the kids will enjoy. I do try my best to keep our meal plan healthy, however we may have something every now that may not be. See my previous weekly meal plans here.

This weeks meal plan
Despite the terrible rain and lack of sunshine, I have enjoyed a lovely week spent with family visiting from NSW. I didn’t achieve much around the house, however I did manage to fit in some shopping, movies and quite a few coffees.
Monday – I shouted the kids McDonald’s (this doesn’t happen often)
Tuesday – Mediterranean Tuna and Rice Pie we loved this last time I made it, we had to try again
Wednesday – Chicken Avocado Fettuccine
Thursday – Rissoles veges and pasta.
Friday – Easy dinner fried eggs on toast
Saturday – Spaghetti bolognese
Sunday – Chicken and Corn Filo Parcels with veges
Baking – Choc Hazelnut Muffins

I made the Fettacini dish tonight, I found I needed some salt and garlic to take the bitterness of the avacado away, as once i cooked it the flavour changed completely. It was a big hit with my two little girls though, they couldnt get enough, neither could my hubby! thanks for sharing it 🙂
aaw that's great Beck, I'm glad they all enjoyed it.
That is what I love about your meal planning Katrina, you don’t hide the fact that the kids have Macca’s once in a while, that you have an easy tea once aweek and that they are ‘normal’ meals that normal families and kids actually eat!! Thank you.
