{Meal Planning} Chicken and vegetable pie

What do you have planned for dinner this week?  Do you meal plan?

I have read comments recently that some readers find it hard to think ahead about what to put on a weekly meal planner.  You will find some information here that will help you.  

How I work our meal planner 

we are busy on Monday and Wednesday afternoons so I like to cook dinner during the day, usually a bake or slow cooker recipe that can be easily reheated when we arrive home.  I then work the rest of my planner around these recipes, however trying to remember to have a good balance of white and red meat throughout the week.  

Here is this weeks meal plan:

Monday – Chicken and Vegetable Pie

Tuesday – Steak and vegetables

Wednesday – Family fish pie from Vegie Smugglers Cookbook

Thursday – Night off, visiting family

Friday – Pizza Night!

Saturday – BBQ, Kebab’s with salad

Sunday – Nacho’s

Baking – Chewy Coconut Brownies from the Frost Bite Cookbook
