This weeks meal plan
MONDAY
This is a really easy dish to make, the sauce only takes minutes. I’ve topped it with Panko breadcrumbs which are a Japanese style breadcrumb traditionally used for deep-frying, but I like it on top of bakes as it gives it a crispy topping. They can be found with the other breadcrumbs or in the asian food aisle.
TUESDAY
Lamb Rissoles with mashed potato and vegetables
WEDNESDAY
Chicken noodle soup is a wonderful winter warmer recipe, especially good for when you are feeling under the weather.
THURSDAY
Chicken and Leek Lasagna with steamed vegetables
With a beautiful caramalised filling the whole family will enjoy this!
FRIDAY
Pumpkin and Bacon Cauli-rice with Sage
This pumpkin and bacon cauli-rice with sage recipe is full on delicious!
SATURDAY
Homemade baked fish fingers with salad
A fantastic recipe to get the kids to eat fish, they will love the crunch of the Panko crumbs.
SUNDAY
I think it’s perfectly acceptable to have toasted sandwiches for dinner, especially when you have had a nutritious dinner the night before and eaten reasonably healthy through the day.
BAKING
These tasty carrot muffins contain no nuts which makes them perfect for school lunch-boxes.
Only 3 ingredients, butter, honey and rice bubbles.
