The McCormick spices are fabulous 🙂 Their little blister pack ones have enticed my girls to try food they otherwise wouldn’t 🙂
i love this weekly meal thing. I thought of doing something like this but didn’t know where to start. thanks.
It’s such a great help, definitely give it a go if you can. J
I have a 10-week meal plan. Yes, 10 weeks, and i just rotate through the weeks. It means we only have the same meal about 5 times a year, although I do always cook a double portion and we have the same meal twice in that week…not necessarily on consecutive nights! For me it just takes the stress out of “what am i gonna cook this week?!?”, and having recently-ish gone back to out-of-house employment 3 days a week (with 3 kids) it’s fantastic – Monday is cooking day, I cook 2 double-size meals while the little ones sleep and that gets us through to Thurs, which is the end of my working week. Then I have time on Friday to cook again… Yes, sometimes i get bored of a meal, or find the kids don’t like it so much…so i just substitute in another meal with the same base meat, perhaps a recipe I’ve been wanting to try, and if it work – it stays! I <3 meal plans…can u tell?!? 🙂
Thanks for '20 Days', I wasn't able to keep up with every day, but i have all the print-outs and have made copious notes so that i can do things as i can get to them. My kitchen has had quite a birthday these school holidays!
